Handlebar Bling - HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN HANDBLEBAR BRACELET

Supplies Needed:
1 clasp (circle or lobster)
1 hook or jump ring (attached to clasp)
2 elastic strings (~12” each)
2 strands worth of Beads! (4” each)
Jewelry and Bead glue (recommended)
Tape & Scissors

Steps:
Pre-stretch both elastic strings
Tie both elastic strings to a clasp or hook looping both strands through the clasp or hook, using at least 4-6 alternating overhand knots (2 wraps each knot)
Gently tighten knots
Lay out beads on guide
String beads on Strand 1
Put a small piece of tape on end of Strand 1
So beads don’t fall off when stringing Strand 2
String beads on Strand 2
Tie both strands together using 4-6 alternating overhand knots (same as Step 2)
Gently tighten knots
Tie strands to clasp or hook (the one not used in Step 2), threading one strand through the clasp or hook, using 4-6 alternating overhand knots
Gently tighten knots
Put a small dab of glue on all knots
Let dry for 24hrs
Trim excess string
SHRED

Tie both strands together using 4-6 alternating overhand knots
