2026 VNTRbirds Rip Roaring Mini Enduro: That's a Wrap!

We’re still riding the high from the 4th Annual Rip Roaring Mini Enduro. What started as an idea to create a fun, femme-focused race day has grown into something even bigger than we could have imagined and we’re so grateful to everyone who showed up and made this year’s event so special.
On July 26, women and femme riders from near and far gathered at Arapahoe Basin for a day of racing, riding, cheering, and celebrating the mountain bike community we love so much.
There were big climbs, fast descents, speed sparkles, nervous starts, huge sends, plenty of high fives, and lots of finish-line smiles.
And, of course, there was the Queen Stage. 👑
The Queen Stage
For our SPICY racers, the day included a run down the Queen Stage on Beavers Loop.
After making the climb up the mountain, racers dropped into one of the most challenging and exciting sections of the course.
The Queen Stage brought out everything we love about racing: nerves at the top, focus on the trail, pushing your limits, and that incredible feeling of making it to the bottom and knowing you gave it everything you had.
From the first racer to the last, the energy around Beavers Loop was electric. Racers cheered each other on, mountain goats watched from the peaks, and the whole mountain was buzzing with race-day energy.
More Than a Race
The Rip Roaring Mini Enduro is about racing bikes but it’s also about so much more.
It’s the friend who convinces you to sign up for your first race.
It’s the racer who shows up nervous and leaves feeling unstoppable.
It’s the person cheering from the side of the trail, yelling for someone they’ve never met.
It’s the high fives, the hugs, the celebrations, the big smiles, and the shared love of riding bikes.
That’s what makes Rip Roaring so special to us. We’re here to create a space where women and gender queer riders can challenge themselves, try something new, race as hard as they want, and have a damn good time doing it.
Thank you to every racer who showed up and brought the stoke. You made this day what it was.
