WOMEN'S MOUNTAIN BIKING RETREAT IN MOAB— Join VNTRbirds October 2026

Four days. Red rock lines. Women sending it on legendary Moab terrain.
You’ve dreamed about Moab. Watched the clips, saved the photos, imagined yourself on those iconic trails. But you’ve never done it alone—and definitely not with strangers. What if you didn’t have to?
The VNTRbirds Moab MTB Retreat is for intermediate to advanced riders who came to ride—some of the most beautiful terrain on earth—and come home with people who get it. Four days of guided riding through desert classics and hidden gems, evenings filled with good energy and real connection, and coaching that meets you exactly where your riding is at.
This is a femme-centered retreat—we welcome women, transgender, and gender non-conforming riders who want to show up fully as themselves and ride their hearts out.

This Isn't Just a Bike Trip

Moab has a way of living in your imagination long before you ever ride it. The lines, the light, the terrain that looks almost unreal—it’s easy to keep it on the someday list.
This is your “someday.”
Spend four days in Moab riding terrain that expands what you think you’re capable of, and sharing it with people who understand why you show up for sunrise rides in the first place.
You're Not Figuring It Out Alone
You’ll ride with expert femme guides every day—not judges, not racers, just experienced riders who know Moab deeply and care about your progression. Coaching is light, woven into the ride, not delivered in a classroom. You’ll learn by riding, by trying things, and by being supported in real time.

The Fear of Solo Travel Disappears
You arrive Wednesday to a welcome dinner where you meet your ride crew. You wake up the next morning already rolling with familiar faces. By the end of the retreat, you’re not saying goodbye to strangers—you’re exchanging numbers with friends.
Every detail is handled for you—lodging, dinners, shuttles, mechanical support—so you can stay focused on riding and being there for it all.

You’re Investing in Yourself, Not Just a Trip
What you’re really paying for isn’t just lodging or meals—it’s the experience around the riding. Expert guides, fully supported days on the trail, thoughtfully chosen lodging, shared meals, and the kind of environment that shifts how you show up on a bike.
And then there’s the part you can’t really price out: being surrounded by women who believe in you from the moment you roll in. One returning rider said it best:
“I don’t have to think about logistics at all—VNTRbirds has it dialed. I just show up and have the best time.”

Is This Retreat Right for You?
This retreat is designed for intermediate to advanced riders—those with a solid foundation who are ready for longer days, bigger terrain, and continued progression.
Here’s how we think about rider levels:
-
Intermediate Rider: You’ve been riding for a few seasons across varied terrain. Rocks, roots, and small obstacles feel manageable, and you’re comfortable climbing and descending on intermediate trails. You can handle a few hours in the saddle and are ready to step into longer days and more technical riding.
-
Intermediate–Advanced Rider: You’re confident on intermediate terrain and starting to push into more technical features—bigger rocks, small drops, tighter switchbacks, and steeper descents. You’re looking to build consistency and trust your riding as the terrain gets more demanding. Moab is likely already on your list.
-
Advanced Rider: You’re comfortable on advanced trails and sustained technical terrain. Larger obstacles, drops, and some airtime are part of your riding, and you’re looking to refine your skills, ride bigger lines, and continue progressing in a supportive environment.
If Moab feels a little outside your comfort zone—or you just want to show up feeling more prepared—we recommend getting a few rides in on technical terrain or joining a VNTRbirds skills session ahead of time.

Four Days That
YOU'LL BE TALKING ABOUT ALL YEAR
Wednesday — Arrival & Welcome
You roll into Moab, get settled, and meet the crew. We’ll ease in with a gear check, orientation, and a welcome dinner. Whatever nerves you showed up with tend to fade pretty quickly.
Thursday — Ride, Settle In
We start riding. Moab classics, time on the bike, and space to find your rhythm on the terrain. Coaching shows up where it’s useful—on trail, in the moment. By the end of the day, things are already starting to click.
Friday — Build & Progress
A full day on the trails, riding some of our favorite zones. You’re getting more comfortable out here—on the terrain, with your bike, and with your crew. We wrap the day with a shared dinner and time to hang.
Saturday — The Good Stuff
Big ride energy. The lines you came for, the ones you weren’t sure about, and maybe a few surprises. Options in the afternoon to keep riding or take it easy. We close things out together that night.
Sunday — Roll Out
Slow morning, breakfast, and another spin before heading out. You leave with more than just a few good rides—this one tends to stick.
